(*Error in "Ellis Family of Virginia, by T.H. Ellis, 1849- the book shows Nelson Wright as marrying Miss Sherrold & John as marrying Jane Houston. Must have been a reversal.)
His son Jesse Wright is said to have married Miss Peyton and
they went to KY.
From the Ellis Memorandum.
John E. Wright, his son, said to have married Miss Houston and
they were in Lincoln Co. KY in 1825. (error?)
His daughter, Mary who married Henry Brown, required her father's
consent at the time of the marriage, 20 Oct. 1788, so she was
under 21 years of age then.

Dec. 1807, in Amherst Co. Will Bk 4:491, guardian bond, Abram
Carter and William Ware, guardians. Nelson as an adult left Amherst
